Description |
Hat: Green Quaker bonnet. Worn by Esther Fallis Welch, wife of Dr. Turner Welch. The bonnet is made of an olive green silk. There light a light brown bow at the back of the bonnet that is torn in places. The bow matches the color of the two ribbons that hang down either side of the hat. The interior of the hat is lined with a cream color fabric with netting around the crown. The interior is fairly worn in places with some threads being torn, frayed, or partially loose, in some areas. The dimensions of the hat are: 10"x4"x9 1/4". |
