TEAPOT: (A) This item is a squat white teapot, painted with widely spaced flowers in green and blue. Each flower includes a green stem, four small leaves, and a head of small purple dots. The curving handle is attached at the top slightly below the mouth and at the bottom near the mid-point of the bowl. There is an unknown maker's mark painted in red on the underside of the pot. Measurements: Width 10 1/2" from spout to handle, Width 7 1/4", Height 6 1/2" at handle, 5 1/2" at bowl LID: (B) The lid is white and painted with four evenly spaced flowers of the same type painted on the teapot itself. The handle is in the shape of a flower. There is a small hole for steam venting drilled into the lid. The lid seems to have been broken and repaired at some point. There is a small maker's mark painted in red on the underside of the lid. There is a small chip missing at the edge. Measurements: Width 3 1/2", Depth 3 1/2", Height 2" |
