Description |
PITCHER: This item is a handmade pottery pitcher featuring a sculpted lizard which wraps itself around the pitcher from the base to the mouth. The outer body of the pitcher is blue-green, while the inside is light brown. The spout is sculpted in the shape of a leaf, painted in green. The lizard itself forms the pitcher's handle and is painted brown with green highlights. Its mouth is wide open. Inscribed upon one side are the words "Drink, pretty creature, drink". The initials "MMD" and the year "1883" are etched into the bottom of the pitcher. Measurements: Width (handle to spout) 6", Depth 3 3/4", Height 4 1/2". |
