MILK PITCHER: (A) This is a white porcelain milk pitcher with gold decoration. The body of the pitcher is cylindrical. The gold decorations form bands that go all the way around the item. There are solid bands and bands with repeating patterns of leaves on a vine. There are more gold leaves on the top of the handle and beneath the spout. The handle is simple and rectangular except for the bottom where it curves to meet the body of the milk pitcher. There is a yellowed sticker beneath the handle which reads "Chinese" in cursive lettering. Measurements: Width 6" spout to handle, Depth 3 3/4", Height 6 1/2" LID: (B) The lid of the milk pitcher is dome-shaped, with a gold band around the bottom and a repeating pattern of leaves on a vine. The handle is a small nub with a gold flower or starburst illustrating its top. Measurements: Width: 3", Depth 3", Height: 1 1/4" |
