Graduation Announcement: Brown paper announcement card in original matching envelope. The card is textured brown paper in a rectangular shape. On the front, the paper is embossed with trees and owls on both sides of flaps that open outward. Gold text inside signs that the owls are holding reads, "Battle Ground / High School" and "Class / of 1928". Inside the card is a piece of white paper attached to the card with a strip of leather. The top part of the card is folded over and holds a small white card with the name, "LaRhue D. Ransdell" printed in black. On the white paper, printed in brown, "The Class of Nineteen Hundred Twenty-eight / Battle Ground High School / invites you to its / Commencement Exercises / Wednesday evening, April eighteenth / M. E. Church / Battle Ground, Indiana". The card, when closed, measures 5 1/8" x 3 1/8" x 1/8". The envelope is made of matching brown paper. The interior is lined with a texture gold- foil paper. Envelope measures 5 3/8" x 3 3/8" x 1/8". |
